Workplace Compliance (HR) is a 6-course online training package covering the HR compliance topics legally required or strongly recommended in virtually every state. It includes sexual harassment training for employees and managers, workplace violence, substance abuse, discrimination and bias, and anti-bullying. Pricing starts at $69 per employee for teams of 50 to 99 and goes up to $119 per employee for teams of 1 to 9. All 6 courses are available in English and Spanish. Each employee receives a certificate of completion.

What This Package Covers

Sexual harassment, workplace violence, substance abuse, and discrimination claims are among the most expensive employment liability exposures a company faces. The average harassment lawsuit settlement runs between $75,000 and $125,000 before legal fees. Many states now mandate harassment training as a condition of doing business. And in every case, documented training - with certificates showing who was trained and when - is the employer's first line of legal defense.

This package covers the six HR compliance topics that employment attorneys and HR professionals consistently identify as the highest-liability areas in any workplace: sexual harassment prevention for employees, sexual harassment obligations for managers, workplace violence, substance abuse, discrimination and bias, and workplace bullying. Buying the courses individually at retail would cost $150 to $210 per employee. This package delivers all six for $69 to $119 per employee depending on your team size.

Designed for

All employers. HR directors, office managers, and safety managers are the typical buyers. This package is especially important for employers in states with mandatory harassment training laws (California, New York, Connecticut, Illinois) and for any employer who wants documented proof of compliance training before a claim is ever filed.

Courses Included

All 6 courses are available in English, Spanish, and multi-language closed captions at no additional charge.

Why This Training Is Required

State and Federal Requirements

California, New York, Connecticut, Illinois, and Delaware mandate sexual harassment training by law, with specific requirements on duration and content by role. Even in states without a specific mandate, the EEOC's enforcement guidance strongly recommends documented harassment prevention training for all employees and heightened training for supervisors. An employer who cannot produce training records when a harassment or discrimination claim is filed is in a significantly worse legal position than one who can.

Workplace violence prevention training is addressed under OSHA's General Duty Clause, which requires employers to provide a workplace free from recognized serious hazards. Substance abuse policies supported by documented training strengthen an employer's position in DOT-regulated industries and in any state with drug-free workplace statutes. This package covers all of these topics in a single enrollment with certificates of completion for every employee.

Common Questions

Does this package satisfy state sexual harassment training requirements?
This package includes both the employee and manager versions of sexual harassment prevention training. However, several states - including California, New York, Connecticut, and Illinois - have specific duration and content requirements that differ by role and employer size. If you operate in a state with mandatory sexual harassment training laws, verify whether your state requires a longer or more detailed course than the ones included here. We offer state-specific courses for California, New York, Connecticut, and Delaware separately.
Why does this package include separate courses for employees and managers?
The legal obligations are different. Managers have heightened liability exposure - they can personally be held liable for harassment in some states, and the company is automatically liable when a supervisor harasses a direct report. The manager course covers supervisory response obligations, how to handle complaints, and the documentation an employer needs to establish an affirmative defense. Both roles need training, but they need different training.
How often should employees take HR compliance training?
Most employment attorneys recommend annual refresher training. California, New York, and Connecticut set specific annual or biennial requirements. Even in states without a legal mandate, documented annual training substantially strengthens an employer's defense position if a claim is ever filed. Your employer dashboard tracks completion dates so you know exactly when each employee last completed each course.
Do I need this if my state doesn't have a training law?
The risk of not training is not limited to regulatory fines. An employer who cannot produce training records when a harassment or discrimination claim is filed is in a significantly worse legal position than one who can. The EEOC and plaintiffs' attorneys treat undocumented workplaces as evidence of a failure to take prevention seriously. The cost of this package is a fraction of the cost of a single EEOC charge investigation.
Can I buy just the sexual harassment courses without the full package?
Yes. Individual courses are available for purchase at $24.95 to $34.95 each. The package price represents a meaningful discount for employers who need multiple topics covered. If you only need one or two courses, individual course pages let you purchase selectively.
